I recently learned of the death of a colleague. We were not friends but I read his obituary and he was an accomplished man. We shared a Jewish heritage although we did not attend church or temple together. What we shared was a profession and dedication to treat people with pain. We also shared the dealing with the State by virtue of The Louisiana Medical Board. I read his obituary and I read what they wrote. Was it the same person? There are many lessons here. But suffice it to say that we all have acquaintances and friends and we all have to deal with government agencies but few are like The Louisiana Medical Board and its Stalin Like Members.
We have no friends at the Louisiana Medical Board. I don't. You don't. Neither did My colleague. So I salute Peter A Zimmerman Md today . He helped many people I am sure and for this we are thankful. Perhaps The Louisiana Medical Board contributed to his stress which as we all know can affect our health. They care not, but we do!
